Overall Grade Reports
Please explain in just a few sentences, how or why it is important to have the Overall grade displayed to students? What is the function of the Overall Grade, and how does the 'Default' function affect the display of the Overall Grade report?

What is the purpose of a Grading Scale?
The grading scale in Angel is very easily created, but can have a tremendous impact on what the final grade for a student is. From A to F, the numerical association of how a grade is finalized can make the difference in a students life. The first question for students to answer is...why is the grading scale important to your course?
The second question to be reflected upon in this blog is one that often comes up in course work. Reflect for a few sentences about under what conditions would you 'give' a student the benefit of the next grade up? For instance, if the student is on the very high end of a B, under what conditions would you consider giving the student an A, or not?
The gading for this blog response will be judged on displayed knowledge of the Angel system, and comments about how your course will work with the Angel grading scale, and what you feel is important about the impact of an accurate grading system in your course.
